How to Change a File Extension on Windows
Filed Under: Tips and Tricks
This tip is for all those Microsoft Windows users.
I'm currently using Windows Vista right now but this works on older versions too.
Changing a File Extension on Windows?
Anyways, here's what to do.
1) Open My Computer
2) Click Tools then click Folder Options
3) Select the View tab.
4) Then Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types
After that, it's time to go to the easy part.
Right click on the file you want to change the file extension with and rename appropriately.
Example:
a) from Skiverzfile.rar to Skiverzfile.zip
b) from Skiverzpic.jpg to Skiverzpic.jpeg
Hope this one helped.
