How to install Warcraft 3 maps

Filed Under:

a. Locate the .w3x file you downloaded.

b. Right-click on this file, and click "Copy".

c. Open your "My Computer", and browse to your installation directory.

d. Open the "Maps" subfolder. This is usually located in C:/Program Files/Warcraft III/Maps/.

e. Go to "Edit" -> "Paste"

f. Voila

i can only play the w3m maps
the w3x are not even showing

w3x are played as ???? Custom game ????

To play w3x files you need to have Frozen Throne Expansion installed.

I copied my file to maps... when i started playing game, the map shows on but it didnt worked..... It didnt opened at all... :(

i followed all of the instructions and i cant see it in the custom campaigns place, please help
